Below are a few tips on how to get the most out of your Cabinet Cost Estimator.
1) Ship-to zip code:
Your zip code is needed so the calculator can apply a freight factor for shipping your cabinets from the distributor (NJ). Freight factors can be as much as 25% of your delivered cost.
2) Cabinetry Level:
Choose Basic Cabinets if you would like low end economy cabinetry – builder grade – particle board see the valley series
Mid Range is the default and is most of the RTA Cabinets at the rtaCabinetMall.com – better finish – Solid wood / plywood construction
Premium cabinets are the upper end RTA styles
3) Kitchen Level
Builder Level is the basic no frills kitchen. Cabinets only, without any specialty cabinets or decorations. No extras, voided corners, no trim.
Family Level Kitchen is a bit more functional and decorative than the builder level with extras like a base lazy-susan corner, a drawer bank, standard trim packages (default)
Luxury Kitchen Level has everything in the family level plus more trim and decorative items, enclosures, glass doors, bump ups, etc
4) Linear Feet: you should include all counter top lengths plus spans for range, refrigerator, etc. Basically, include all wall lengths where cabinetry is attached plus lengths for island or peninsula. Evev if an area has only upper or only base cabinets, those lengths should be included.
